Rondinella grape variant is a grape largely grown in the Vento region of Italy and extensively used in making the famous Italian red wine.
The prevalent color is ruby red, from medium intense to intense. In the young wines there are distinct floral notes of violet, fruity notes of berries and blackberry, slight vegetal notes of pepper. The wine produced is usually bodied and not very tannic.
